On Tuesday, April 15, 2025, a delegation from University of Lille, led by Prof. Didier Gosset, Ambassador of the University and Advisor to the President, and Dr. Joseph Armando Soba, Director for International Development, accompanied by Mr. Denis Fourmeau, Attaché for Cooperation in Higher Education from the French Embassy in Vietnam, met with VinUniversity leaders and faculty.
Prof. Laurent El Ghaoui, Vice Provost of Research and Dean of College of Engineering and Computer Science, introduced VinUni’s educational programs, colleges, and Research Excellence Hubs, focusing on Health and Wellbeing, Environment and Green Future, and Digital Transformation.
University of Lille highlighted its “Global Transition” research and education theme, emphasizing four scientific hubs: Precision Human Health, Science for a Changing Planet, Human-Friendly Digital World, and Changing Cultures, Societies, and Practices.
Both institutions explored collaboration opportunities, including a joint PhD program, visiting scholar program, and research partnerships. This meeting laid a strong foundation for a promising partnership, with both universities committed to advancing shared goals in research and education through future collaborations.
