On May 26, 2025, the College of Engineering and Computer Science (CECS) hosted its Spring Townhall, bringing together students, faculty, and staff for important updates and open dialogue.
The event began with brief remarks from Prof. Pham Ngoc Nam, Dean of CECS, who shared key highlights on student achievements, ongoing faculty recruitment, and the college’s growing research and international collaborations. Dr. Nguyen Dang Tung, Director of Career Services and External Engagement, followed with updates on internship opportunities, exchange programs, and industry partnerships.
One of the most anticipated parts of the Townhall was the Q&A session, where students raised a wide range of questions—from curriculum structure and retake policies to scholarships, postgraduate opportunities, and internship requirements. CECS leaders responded directly during the session and are committed to following up where needed.
To end the event on a fun note, CECS hosted a Lucky Number Draw, awarding gifts to three randomly selected students, and a lively Quiz Game that saw five students win small prizes for their quick and witty responses.
The Townhall reaffirmed CECS’s commitment to listening to students, celebrating our collective progress, and continuing to build a supportive, engaged academic community.
