3D technology propels scientific and technical revolution in various medical fields, such as in surgical navigation devices, implant surgery, structural replacement to enhance effectiveness of orthopaedic surgery, and postoperative recovery.

The Symposium on Application of 3D Technology in Surgery – hosted by the 3D Technology in Medicine Center, VinUniversity – aims to provide the latest knowledge and progress made in applications of 3D technology in various medical fields, such as: Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine, Chiropractic Surgery, Maxillofacial Surgery – Plastic Surgery – Aesthetics, Urological Surgery, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine – Cardiovascular – Respiratory Intervention. The symposium will see the participation of international experts in 3D design software from MediCAD – including Professor Wolfgang Walter Vogt. Also, in attendance will be leading Vietnamese experts and doctors – who are pioneering 3D technology in: Orthopaedic Surgery, Odonto-Stomatology, Cardiology, etc. – from VinUniversity, Vinmec, Bach Mai Hospital, Hanoi Medical University, and Viet Duc Friendship Hospital.
