VinUni’s CECS has officially signed an MOU with the Department of Mechanical Engineering (ME) at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). This partnership marks a significant step in fostering global academic collaboration and advancing innovative research between the two institutions.

The agreement focuses on promoting faculty and student exchanges. Faculty from both sides will engage in teaching, conduct joint research, and share expertise, enriching academic activities for CECS and KAIST ME alike. Students will benefit from undergraduate and graduate exchange programs, gaining invaluable international exposure and broadening their academic horizons.

The collaboration also emphasizes joint research projects and co-hosted conferences. By pooling resources and expertise, VinUni and KAIST aim to tackle global challenges and drive advancements in science and technology, enhancing the research capabilities of both institutions while contributing to society.

Notably, this agreement was made possible through the dedicated efforts of Dr. Thai Mai Thanh, a CECS lecturer and former PhD student at KAIST, who played a pivotal role in connecting the two institutions and finalizing this MOU.
