CECS VinUni and Suresofttech Sign MOU to Foster Talent Development and Industry Collaboration

CECS VinUni and Suresoft Technologies Inc. (Suresofttech), a leading Korean software verification and validation company, have recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to establish a long-term partnership in education, talent development, and collaborative research. This MOU was made possible through the introduction and support of Prof. Cha Sungdeok, Faculty of Computer Science at CECS, VinUni, whose connection with Suresofttech has opened new avenues for collaboration between the two institutions.

Through this partnership, CECS and Suresofttech will work together to develop internship pathways, joint research explorations, expert engagement opportunities, and co-supervised capstone projects. These activities are designed to bring real industry exposure to VinUni students while enabling Suresofttech to connect with a growing pool of high-quality talent. The cooperation also extends to VinUni’s alumni community, particularly those currently studying or working in South Korea, who will gain access to expanded professional networking and potential career opportunities with the company.

Suresofttech, headquartered in Pangyo Techno Valley and listed on KOSDAQ, is recognized for its expertise in software safety, autonomous systems, and mission-critical software testing across industries such as automotive, cybersecurity, and defense. With a highly technical workforce and established global client portfolio, the company brings extensive experience in developing high-assurance software tools and solutions while supporting talent development through its dedicated Software Education Center.

The collaboration outlined in the MOU will allow CECS faculty and students to engage directly with Suresofttech engineers on software testing technologies, autonomous system validation workflows, and other advanced digital engineering methodologies. Both sides also express interest in exploring future research opportunities aligned with next-generation software verification, AI-driven quality assurance, and the evolving needs of the global digital ecosystem. These initiatives will be shaped through follow-up agreements designed to support sustainable academic–industry engagement.
