CECS VinUni Signs MOU with KPIT Technologies to Expand Industry Learning Opportunities for Students

June 11, 2026

On June 26, 2026, the College of Engineering and Computer Science, VinUniversity, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with KPIT Technologies Limited, marking a significant step toward strengthening industry engagement and expanding experiential learning opportunities for students. The partnership reflects CECS’s commitment to bridging academic learning and industry practice while preparing students for careers in the rapidly evolving technology and mobility sectors.

KPIT Technologies is a global technology company specializing in software-defined vehicles, autonomous driving, electrification, connected mobility, and automotive engineering solutions. With operations across multiple regions worldwide, KPIT partners with leading automotive manufacturers to help shape the future of mobility.

Under the MOU, KPIT will provide 3–5 internship opportunities annually for qualified VinUni students and facilitate at least one company visit each year to its Hanoi office. These initiatives will enable students to gain first-hand exposure to professional engineering and technology environments, apply classroom knowledge to real-world projects, interact with industry practitioners, and develop a deeper understanding of emerging technologies and career pathways. In addition, both parties will explore opportunities for training programs, student projects, capstone collaborations, and other educational activities that support student development and industry readiness.

Beyond student engagement, the MOU establishes a framework for broader collaboration in areas such as applied research, technical mentorship, and potential scholarship and sponsorship initiatives. Through these activities, CECS and KPIT aim to foster meaningful connections between academia and industry while creating long-term value for students, faculty, and both organizations.

This partnership underscores CECS VinUni’s ongoing efforts to build strong relationships with leading global technology companies and to provide students with opportunities that enhance their professional growth, industry exposure, and career readiness in an increasingly competitive and innovation-driven world.
