Program Description
The Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program@CECS(UROP@CECS) offers undergraduate students opportunities to become an Research Assistant (RA) and work with CECS faculty in their research projects. By becoming an RA, students have the chance to experience high-quality research mentored by world-class faculty in the field of Engineering and Computer Science. As a RA, students will have the opportunity to discover and/or confirm their career interests, develop their major knowledge, and gain valuable professional skills and connections. Whether joining established research projects or pursuing your own ideas, UROP@CECS cultivates and fosters research relationships between undergraduate students and faculty. Projects take place during the academic year and/or during the summer session and can span from a semester to a year or more.
By participating in UROP@CECS, student will be able to take part in many stages of the research process, from generating research plans, doing research to evaluating data, and presenting or publishing the findings.
Students will complete the program under the guidance and support of a faculty supervisor, who will help students create SMART learning outcomes (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound).
Required: VinUni undergraduate
Prerequisite: None
