Nguyen Ngoc Phuc Tien and her co-authors received the Best Poster Award at the 5th International Symposium on Advanced Magnetic Materials and Applications (ISAMMA), held from August 4-7, 2024, in Quang Binh Province, Vietnam. The research on “Escherichia coli DNA Detection Based on Fe3O4@MoS2 Magnetic Nanocomposites” highlights the potential for using magnetic and 2D materials in bioanalytical applications, thereby opening new avenues for detecting other pathogens and biomolecules. This award is a significant milestone, marking her first major achievement at her very first scientific conference.
Cao Hai Lam and Hoang Huy Minh Khoi co-authored with Dr. Nguyen Vu Linh, Dr. Ahmad Hajjar and presented their conference paper from Dec 20-22, 2023, at the 10th International Conference on Mechanical, Automotive and Materials Engineering in Da Nang. Their paper title is “Numerical investigation on a novel design of alternative inclined baffles for single shell-pass shell-tube heat exchange”.
A Q1 journal paper by Dr. Le Van Quynh, VinUni Research Assistants, CECS students et al. was published in Applied Physics Letters, a journal listed in Nature Journal Index. Three CECS students co-authored this paper are Le Viet Hoang (Cohort 1 – EE program), Luu Dang Khue (Cohort 2 – ME program, Chu Ha Linh (Cohort 2 – EE program).
