Important Notes for Students
- Application Limit: Students may apply for up to two UROP projects per semester. If the first-choice project is not accepted, the second choice will be considered.
- Workload Recommendation: To balance coursework and other activities, students can participate in only one UROP course per semester.
- Course Retakes: If students retake a UROP course (e.g., due to switching supervisors or GPA improvement), follow VinUni’s Financial Regulations and Tariff on Retake Fees.
- Capstone Projects: While UROP research may be developed into thesis work (Capstone project), students will not earn UROP Paid or Credit for thesis work during terms in which you are registered for thesis credit.
- Volunteer Research Opportunities: If students want to explore research without earning credit or payment, you can participate as a Volunteer Research Assistant. Please contact a faculty supervisor directly to discuss available opportunities.
